Switchfoot Officially Hits Platinum

San Diego four-manned band Switchfoot officially hits Platinum status with their newest acclaimed album, “The Beautiful Letdown” marking over 1 million copies sold in the United States.

Released in 2003, one by one the album has gained acclaiming reviews for being a band that for its cross cultural style and ‘abandoned rock’ playing and deep faith lyrics. The band’s hits such as leading single “Meant To Live” have received coverage on major music channels such as MTV, and was posted upon Billboard magazine’s Top 10 mainstream rock chart for months

Switchfoot also received seven Gospel Music Association Dove Award nominations, including Song and Artist of the Year.
