After hitting New York Comic-Con this year, it seems that ‘Teen Wolf’ has been set for not just an action-packed installment but a drama-filled one as well. Executive producer Jeff Davis opened up about ‘Teen Wolf’ season 7, including the presence of the Ghost Riders, the death of a major character and even Scott’s (Tyler Posey) single relationship status.

The showrunner revealed that the writers have come up with a “hit list” for this final season.

“There will be one or two, maybe more deaths this season,” Davis said. “We have a hit list in the writers room, and some of that list, I tell the writers, ‘We’re not gonna kill that person. That person’s off limits.’”

As for Kira, Arden Cho’s character will not be returning for the final season.

“Scott is a single man but may not be single for that long. We’re interested in unlikely romances this season,” Davis revealed.

As for the Ghost Riders, they will be targeting Peter (Ian Bohen) and Stiles (Dylan O’ Brien), although the showrunner did not reveal the villains’ exact motives. Nonetheless, he did promise that the fifth episode of season 6 will shed light on their intentions, explaining that there is a good reason behind who the Riders are taking.

As for O’ Brien, the actor himself has had to deal with more than a set of new villains. The ‘Maze Runner’ star had to undergo full facial reconstruction surgery after his accident on the set of ‘Death Cure.’

His fitness coach, Roger Yuan, confirmed that the 25-year-old actor has already been able to train hard and hasten the recovery process, although he has been advised to remain cautious about his blood pressure and heart rate.

“He was seriously hurt… he’s coming back… he’s training very, very hard,” Yuan said.

“He’s a really good kid and the challenges he has to go through in terms of the whole facial reconstruction. Getting in shape and having the limitations because it’s still very raw in terms of physically. There’s still things he’s recovering from,” the trainer further explained.

O’Brien has not released an official statement about his condition, but those who have worked with him on set have also opened up about the actor’s experiences.

“He’s all better. It was more than disconcerting. I never saw him in his worst form, but it was described to me,” Deepwater Horizon producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura recalled. “It was really scary. He came close to dying, I’m pretty sure. It was enough to shake your core.”

As pointed out by the Huffington Post, British Colombian WorksafeBC attributed the fault to 20th Century Fox, stating that it “failed to ensure the safety” of their employee, particularly Dylan O’Brien.

"British Columbia’s work-safety agency says a film production company ‘failed’ to ensure the safety of workers on the set of 'Maze Runner: The Death Cure' when actor Dylan O’Brien was injured in March. WorksafeBC says an actor was injured March 17 after a change to an action sequence in the film.”

Meanwhile, 'Teen Wolf' season 6 is set to premiere on November 15, Tuesday, at 9 p.m. EDT on MTV.
