Our favorite heroes in a half shell Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo, and Raphael will face-off one more time with their arch-enemy Shredder in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Half Shell, with an official release date on June 3, 2016.

But our four ninja turtles will be joined by an unlikely ally, Casey Jones (Stephen Amell of Arrows), a vigilante whose weapons of choice are mostly sticks, including baseball bats, golf clubs, cricket bats, and hockey sticks.

Jones is a master of stealth, as he has never been caught by the NYPD despite his bizarre appearance. In most installments, he becomes a love interest of April O'Neil (Megan Fox). Jones is a fellow crime fighter who protects the streets of New York City. Early photos released by Paramount Pictures showed Amell wearing the iconic hockey mask as Jones.

A report by Movie Pilot also indicated that Shredder would be joined by his two dim-witted henchmen Bebop and Rocksteady in creating chaos throughout the city.

Actor-comedian Gary Anthony Williams will play. Williams is credited for his works in Uncle Ruckus from The Boondocks animated series. WWE professional wrestler Stephen "Sheamus" Farrelly is casted to play as Rocksteady. However, in the original carton series, Rocksteady had an unmistakable American accent but Sheamus has a distinct think Irish accent when in character.

Another rumor surfaced that WWE star, CM Punk, might be casted either as Bebop or Rocksteady but this has yet to be confirmed.

In the original carton series, Bebop and Rocksteady were originally ordinary gang members but later on mutated to become a warthog and a rhino giving them super-human strengths and more powerful than the ninja turtles. However the two villains are lacking in the brain department allowing the turtles to always outwit them in all their confrontations.

Also rumored to make their onscreen debut in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Half Shell, are Shredder's daughter Karai (Brittany Ishibashi) and the alien villain Krang.

Reports said several extras were seen gathering around a portal in the film's set that could indicate Krang is readying his transport to Earth.

The alien blob with vast intelligence may be teleporting onto the silver screen. Though the character has not been confirmed as being in the movie, there have been rumors of Krang's appearance in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.

Another fan-favorite villain to appear is Baxtor Stockman, the mad scientist who turns himself into a human fly. Actor Tyler Perry will play the character, but it has not been confirmed whether he will go through the transformation in the movie.
