Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 2

When Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell hits theaters next summer, viewers should expect to see characters iconic to the original TMNT franchise. They include old favorites including Casey Jones, Karai, Beebop and Rocksteady.  In the meantime, Krang is rumored to be making an appearance as well. Also titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, the film will premiere on June 3, 2016.

Beebop and Rocksteady Will Appear

Fan-favorite characters Beebop and Rocksteady are finally making an onscreen debut in TMNT 2.

Unlike the Turtles, the characters started out as humans before being mutated into anthropomorphic animals. Beebop took on the form of a warthog, while Rocksteady became a black rhino. Despite having insanely powerful physical strengths, the bumbling duo is often outwitted by the heroes.

Beebop will be played by actor-comedian Gary Anthony Williams, whose credits include Uncle Ruckus from The Boondocks animated series.

WWE star Stephen "Sheamus" Farrelly will star as Rocksteady. It is uncertain whether Sheamus did anything to hide his thick Irish accent when in character. In the original children's cartoon series, Rocksteady had an unmistakable American accent.

Stephen Amell as Casey Jones

Vigilante Casey Jones will finally take to the streets in a bid for blind justice. The character will be played by actor Stephen Amell, who is better known for his role as Oliver Queen in The Arrow television series.

Photos of Amell donning Jones' iconic hockey mask have been circulating throughout the web for days since filming began.

Shredder is Not Dead - No Surprise

The Shredder will be returning, which is no surprise to avid fans of the franchise. This time actor Brian Tee will replace Tohoru Masumune as the heavily armored nemesis of The Turtles. As leader of the Foot Clan, Shredder will boss around Beebop and Rocksteady.

Also, his daughter Karai will make an appearance. The character is played by actress Brittany Ishibashi.

Baxtor Stockman

Another fan-favorite villain to appear is Baxtor Stockman, the mad scientist who turns himself into a human fly. Actor Tyler Perry will play the character, but it has not been confirmed whether he will go through the transformation in the movie.

Will Krang Make His Debut?

The alien blob with vast intelligence may be teleporting onto the silver screen. Though the character has not been confirmed as being in the movie, there have been rumors of Krang's appearance in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.

Where this speculation originated remains a mystery, and needs to be regarded with the proverbial grain of salt.
