Two years after its arcade release, Tekken 7 will finally land on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC early next year. Based on the released trailer during E3 2016, the popular fighting game will have fast-paced and action-packed battles. Here's what is currently known about Tekken 7 release date, new characters and new features.

One of the main themes in Tekken 7 is the 20-year long feud within the Mishima clan. In the game's story mode, there are cut-scenes that blend in smoothly to player's battles. The cinematic scenes with dialogue are meant to give characters' story more depth and content.

In terms of gameplay, the new Tekken title will introduce new set of combos and battle mechanics. These are called Power Crushes and Rage Arts. The latter will give losing players an alternative move that is powerful enough to blow huge damage to enemy. On the other hand, Power Crushes are powerful combos that cannot be stopped, as per reports from Rappler.

Gaming experts says these new mechanics of Tekken will make it easier for new players to enjoy the game.

Furthermore, the game is expected to provide powerful visuals and powerful graphics. Game developers reportedly used Unreal Engine 4 that allows the game to have strikingly detailed characters, arena and flashy fighting combos. Moreover, players should expect polished looking movements and attacks.

Bandai Namco also announced the game will have over 30 playable characters which include Josie Rizal, Claudio Serafino, Lucky Chloe, Katarina Alves and Kazumi Mishima. One of the most talked about new fighters is Akuma from Street Fighter. Some of his fighting moves are Gahoduken, Goshoryuken, hurricane kicks and Raging Demon combo. Akuma uses Shotokan style of karate and he has an ability to summon demonic force known as Satsui no Hado.

In Tekken 7, Akuma is an ally of Heihachi Mishima's wife Kazumi. He has long been perceived as an antagonist in the Street Fighter series, but he is rumored to play major role in Mishima clan war.

For Xbox One owners who are Xbox Live Gold subscribers, they can access Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for free. Bandai Namco said the program is a way to promote the upcoming Tekken 7 game.

Engadget reported Tekken 7 will be released on PS4 and Xbox One on March 2017 with a price of $59.99. The Tekken is one of most popular fighting games in the world because of its amazing gameplay mechanics and exciting storyline.
