Tekken 7 Release Date, Rumors, Spoilers; PS4, Xbox One Version to be Announced In Next Month’s Tokyo Game Show

There is still no exact from Japanese game developer Bandai Namco on the release date of the highly popular video game franchise Tekken 7 on the Xbox One and the PS4 platforms. However, fans of the video game were given some hints that game director Katsuhiro Harada will make an important announcement on the release date during next month's Tokyo Game Show 2015.

The much-anticipated Tokyo Game Show 2015 will be held from September 17 - 20 and there were reports that Bandai Namco, reported Christian Today. To recall, Bandai Namco used the same event last year to announce the introduction of a new character Catalina from the game's official roster.

Many loyal fans of the video fighting game are hoping that Bandai Namco will again use the event to make a major announcement on the release an Xbox One and PS4 versions of Tekken 7.

However, some reports have doused cold waters into this expectation and claimed Harada is focused in developing new features for Tekken 7 and will not be making any new announcement for new generation consoles for the popular fighting game.

Reports said that Harada wants to incorporate an online play for the arcade version of Tekken 7 if there is enough demand for such feature. During the Game Developers Conference event a few months ago, Bandai Namco released a trailer showing off a possible version for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 although no official release date is coming from the company as of yet.

An arcade version of Tekken 7 has already been release in Japan early this month. However, gamers in the U.S. were given the opportunity to test the latest installment of Tekken in selected Round One outlets in Chicago and Seattle.

Meanwhile, Tekken 7 will have a new character named Claudio Serafino, from Italy, who, instead of focusing on revenge, is actually introduced to stop evil creatures.

Not much is said about Claudio but as Tekken.wikia.com described him, "Claudio has almost slate blue asymmetrical eyes, black hair and pale skin." In addition, "He bears a massive tattoo on his right arm which is partially visible through the black bandages (which are secured by a single chain and lock). A similar tattoo can be seen under his left eye as well."
