Texas is coming off a 41-16 domination over Texas Tech, defeating the Red Raiders for 281 rushing yards and forcing three turnovers to put themselves in position for the conference title. Running back Malcolm Brown gained 128 yards and Joe Bergeron added another 102 yards and a touchdown, and quarterback Case McCoy avoided throwing an interception for the first time in five games, going 10-for-19 for 139 yards and two touchdowns.

Baylor has won 10 times for the third time in school history (1980, 2011), but has never won 11 games.

The Longhorns have 33 sacks their last eight games, the most in the FBS during that span. They had only two in first three games before changing defensive coordinators.
