Thanksgiving 2018: Best Bible Verses to Help You Practice Genuine Gratitude

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and amid the hustle and bustle of the season, it's easy to forget why we celebrate this important holiday. For the Christian, Thanksgiving is about more than turkey, parades, and, family traditions. Instead, it's about gratitude and honoring God through the act of giving thanks.

The Bible has a lot to say about giving thanks in all circumnstances - and gratitude isn't something a believer should reserve for one time of year. Colossians 4:2 puts it this way: "Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving."

This Thanksgiving, seek to practice genuine thankfulness, thanking God for the many blessings He showers on His children. In honor of Thanksgiving, here are twelve Bible verses to remind us of God's goodness, faithfulness, and protection.
