UFC Octagon fighter Michael McDonald is not too engrossed with fighting that he forgets about reading and understanding the Bible. He recently made an astounding tweet about the connections between the Bible and Science, which for many are mutually exclusive.

On his Twitter account, he shared to his followers his lengthy understanding of the relationship between Science and the Bible. From the ecosystem to DNA, he said God has a hand in everything. 

"There's such an overwhelming amount of evidence today of the Bible. In particular i love the evidence of the Genesis and Exodus," the 25-year-old fighter shared on Twitter. "When i was a child i thought we must simply believe and all evidence was destroyed of the early times. It's so awesome to see the massive amounts of it still around."

"From learning about the dependence of nature [on] other creatures... The whole [ecosystem] is sustained by the system. To the irreducible complexity of our cells working like 'miniature engines' that can't function without multiple parts all working together at the same time," he continued. "To the creation of consciousness and life that have no reason to exist in the scientific view.. [Even] though we can see consciousness and life being created through every womb, the miracles which we see are still so unknown." He also described humans' DNA as evidence of God, or the "language of God." 

The fighter might be tough out there in the ring, but it is not only in his fights that he is very determined but in digging deeper on his faith, something not all athletes are prone to do. 

In a previous MMA Mania report, he shared that the church he belongs to is very supportive of his fighting career. He is even given the chance to spar with the pastor and let the kids see that a little guy and a big guy have equal chances of winning. 

Last year, he was also very honest about suddenly becoming resentful of his job.

"I think everyone has expectations of being a professional athlete, and it's just not exactly what you expect," McDonald told ESPN.com (via MMA Fighting). He shared that he started to feel the angst when he saw fighters he had beaten getting paid more than him. He said even though he rarely focused on money, it made him feel angry. He added that he cannot give his all to a fight when he worries about paying bills at home. He said he also lost some of his passion after the Miguel Torres fight.
