The Korean National Association of Christian Pastors begins to seek an ecumenical commonality.
Its primary concern is starting the pulpit interchange as soon as having the 486 year anniversary of the religious reformation day.
The first pulpit interchange has come into operation since 2000 and this year is the fourth pulpit interchage. The period in which the pulpit interchange will be held is 4 weeks; from Novemver 2 though November 30.
The Korea Christian Pastor Association said that "This pulpit interchange will awake Korean christians of the 21st century and we hope people can spend a time of self-reflection to overcome their afflictions."
The academia asserted the pulpit interchange would break down a wall between the religious association. Hyung Gi Lee, professor of the Presbyterian College & Theological Seminary said, "It's been embossed with the acceptance of theology varieties and Korea christians should reserve the varieties of the other theologies. After careful consideration, Korea chrisrians think deeply about the ecumenical commonality of the pastoral theology."
Over 20 churches will participate in the pulpit interchange including, but not limited to, Deng Maru church (Pastor Hae Chun Hyun), Gae Bong Somang church(Pastor Sung Mu Lee), Hong Seong church (Pator Gun Su Lee), Jung Ryak church (Pastor Hyung Ik Kim), Mapo Central church (Pastor Sung Hun Yuh) and Chung Won church (pastor Young Gu Kwon).
