The Walking Dead sure has a following of living fans who want to see what will happen to these group of survivors in the undead wasteland.  For those that have read the comic book source material, it is quite obvious how it will end.  The only issue is whether or not the screen adaptation will match one pivotal scene from the comic involving the death of one of the main characters. 

According to iDigitalTimes, there is a teaser for Season 6 featuring the cast and crew and looks to be spelling doom for at least one character.  In fact, Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl, tells fans within the teaser that no everyone makes it to the end, and some characters take the deaths pretty hard. 

For those that have been watching the show, many characters have come and gone.  The show is pretty clear that even though they live in the land where the dead live, the living have a way of dying.  Beth was killed off in the last season, and this season could also have a death of someone major as well. 

Especially since Negan is going to finally be introduced in the context of the screen version of the story.  If you are familiar with Negan, he is a major threat to the survivors, as a sociopathic and charismatic leader of a band of scavengers. 

Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes, the leader of the protagonist survivors on the show, is very excited to see Negan, who will be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.  The comic book source material explores the relationship between Negan and Carl, and how that affects the father/son dynamic of Rick and Carl. 

Negan isn't planned to be revealed until the end of Season 6.  When he is first introduced in the landmark 100th issue of the comic book series, he kills Glenn (played in the series by Steven Yeun) in sight with a baseball bat wrapped with barbed wire. 

Of course, the show differs from the comic in many ways.  It is possible that Glenn will live, and it is also equally as possible that Daryl could die.  Daryl is not even part of the comic book story at all, and his death would probably send fans into a collective outcry on Facebook and Twitter.    

It sounds like the show will follow the graphic novel source material as Yuen has been quoted as saying: "Even if you lose your favorite character this season, you know they've had a solid run."  Considering that fans were in an uproar earlier this season when it was thought that Glenn was dead, it is unknown how they will react if the show depicts his death without any vagueness about it. 

Fans of the show will get a special Valentine's Day present as The Walking Dead returns on AMC at 9 PM on February 14th.
