In promotion of their new album entitled, Wire, Third Day will undertake a forty-four-city tour beginning September 30th in Chamapaign, Illinois.

Wire, which entered at number one on both Nielson SoundScan’s Top Christian Albums and the Top Current Contemporary Christian chart and number twelve on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums, is Third Day’s biggest debuting album.

The album, along with the band’s recent stream of success - including two wins at this year’s Dove Awards - makes it seem that Third Day is, as stated in USA Today, “[p]oised for mainstream impact.”

Joining the band once again will be tobyMac, whose newest release, Welcome to Diverse City, is generating lots of excitement. As lead singer Mac Powell relays to CCM Magazine, “I really couldn’t be more excited about this fall tour. Not only are we going to be able to play some new music for our fans, we’ll be able to hear some new music from one of my favorite artists and touring mates, tobyMac.”
