Meeting with the church and Christian organization ministers in Los Angeles, Rev. Thomas Wang introduced his new book ‘America, Return to God’ and warned of the spiritual crisis in Western countries.

On June 12, Wang spoke on the Greater Los Angeles Chinese Ministerial Association (GLAMA). He shared with an urgent heart about the reason why he has come to Los Angeles. Currently, Western Christian countries are leaving God further as the Netherland, Belgium, Spain, some north European countries, Canada and England legalize homosexuality. Even now the trend has spread to the United States, Christianity is being greatly challenged.

"Now the world faces huge spiritual crisis, as the U.S. is the leader of the world, its death or life is related to people all over the world, including you and me. Therefore, the Chinese churches should not think that is not related to them at all," said Wang.

Citing the biblical story of how Joshua invaded the city of Ai, Wang said that the situation is totally reversed in today’s spiritual battle. Even though the people of God should ambush the Satan, the Satan and His followers ambush the people of God. While many churches today are at the spiritual forefront to spread the mission work, the Satan and his followers are attacking the base of world missions- western Christian countries. As a result, the mission organizations are weakened and the church is secularized, they have finally lost their faith.

"Not only the Church must fight at the forefront and spread the light of the Gospel, but it also needs to strength the faith, to keep the truth and to train workers of God in its native country and society," suggested Wang.

In addition, Wang is compelled by the grace given to Chinese by the U.S. over the last 200 years since it first brought the gospel to the country.

"Thousands of American missionaries have risked their lives and come all the way to China for the sake of the Gospel. With a great heart of love, they preach the Gospel despite of sufferings and threat to their lives," Wang said.

"When America faces this big crisis, Chinese should speak against the churches that have abandoned the truth and the society that has turned away from God. Let’s call for the repentance of the United States, and to recover the faith in Jesus Christ inherited from her ancestors."

Currently, 450,000 copies of "America, Return to God" have been sent to American leaders of all levels and of all professions on first week of May. In September, a nationwide prayer rally will be held as a follow-up event for the launch of the America, Return to God (ARTG) project.

Wang expressed great passion to invite American churches of all denominations and ethnic groups to join the Chinese churches in prayers, adding that it is the prayer campaign for "the revival of churches in America" and the participation of all brothers and sisters is very crucial.

The nationwide prayer rally will cover nine cities across the U.S. Here is the tentative schedule:
