More than 41,000 people filled the Félix Capriles Stadium this weekend during “Esperanza Cochabamba with Will Graham,” a large-scale evangelistic outreach led by the grandson of Billy Graham, continuing a legacy of bringing the Gospel to the world.

The event, held Saturday, was split into two major gatherings. In the morning, more than 10,000 children and their families attended FestiKids, a high-energy program designed to share the Gospel through songs, drama, and interactive Bible lessons. Then in the evening, over 31,000 people returned for the main evangelistic event, where Will Graham shared a message of salvation.

According to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s website, Graham preached from the story of Cain and Abel, urging the crowd to reflect on the condition of their hearts and the sincerity of their faith. “God wants your heart—not your religion,” Graham told the audience, through his interpreter, Pastor David Ruíz.

The crowd responded powerfully. According to the Billy Graham website, “hundreds came forward” when Graham invited people to make a decision for Christ, many of them in tears, holding hands with loved ones as they prayed.

Months of preparation by local churches made the event possible, as volunteers received evangelism training and prayed fervently in anticipation. According to the Billy Graham website, more than 200 churches partnered together across Cochabamba and beyond to help bring the event to life.

The evening was filled not only with preaching but also with music from popular Christian artists. According to the Billy Graham website, performers like Kike Pavón, Jahaziel Band, and The Afters helped lead the stadium in worship, creating an atmosphere that was both joyful and reverent.

For many in attendance, this was more than a one-time event—it was an answer to prayer. “We’ve been waiting for something like this in our city,” said one local pastor. “And now, we’re seeing lives change before our eyes.”

Will Graham’s visit to Cochabamba marks another chapter in the global work of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, as they continue to share the Gospel across continents, cultures, and generations.
