The Detroit Tigers led a 1-0 victory over Red Sox in a tense, grueling four hour match in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series.The Tigers' Anibal Sancez pitched six no-hit innings in Game 1. 

Game 2 will feature Boston's Clay Buchholz and former Cy Young Award winner and MVP Justin Verlander for Detroit.
