You have been putting off the purchase of “the other console” for the longest time -- where you own the Sony PS4 and would love to try out some exclusive Xbox One titles, or the situation might be reversed with the Xbox One seeing plenty of action in your living room while the Sony PS4 remains wishful thinking each time you walk past an electronics store. It is not because you are unable to afford the other console, but because you feel like you are happy with what you have and would not mind picking up the other console for the right price.

Good thing there is this thing known as Black Friday, where you are able to enjoy some deals on items that you have long lusted after but never really gotten around to picking it up. The Sony PS4 and Xbox One certainly qualify for such deals, and we have done the heavy lifting to sniff out just where you are able to get a relative bargain on both consoles. The Nintendo Wii U might be the missing piece in your quest for video game nirvana, but unfortunately, there are no obvious Black Friday deals as at press time. After all, there is nothing quite like waggle controls to let off some steam at the end of the day, as opposed to carefully mashed buttons on a video game controller.

Sony PS4 Black Friday deals
The Sony PS4 has been a mainstay for current generation gaming for quite a number of years already, and there are still some miles left to clock up in time to come. A slew of retailers will be offering their respective Black Friday deals for the Sony PS4, where some of them include Best Buy, Walmart/Sam's Club, Target, GameStop, Toys ‘R’ Us and Kohl's. All of them will carry the 500GB PS4 model, but if you feel that your living room would also need to be spruced up by a more updated model, then there is always a newer and revamped version of the PS4, being known as the PS4 Slim for $249 a pop. This will obviously be smaller in its size compared to the original PS4, which is a good thing, and it is something that we have seen happen in the past such as the PSOne and subsequent generations. Of course, with the PS4 Pro in the pipeline, lower prices will definitely be able shift existing units to make room for the PS4 Pro model.

Xbox One Black Friday 2016 deals
Where do we begin with the Xbox One? Well, many retailers will focus on the white Xbox One S which comes with 500GB of storage space, where it will be accompanied by Battlefield 1 or Minecraft Favorites -- and both will retail for $249.99. Sam’’s Club will even throw in an additional white Xbox One controller without charging you a single cent more. GameStop will offer the Minecraft bundle for the same price, but include a $50 discount off from a standard priced Xbox One console or bundle, which will clearly include a 1TB white bundle with a copy of Gears of War 4.
