With Valentine's Day 2016 coming up, this would be a time to think about what you want to give for that special man in your life.  For this reason, we have compiled the best sports and tech gift ideas for him, but it isn't just exclusive to what we have listed here.

When Valentine's Day rolls around, the Super Bowl will be complete so the winner will be known. If the man in the relationship had a favorite team that actually did win, this would be the perfect time to give him a sports-related theme gift related to his favorite team.

In fact, any NFL team can be found with a search of "(team name) merchandise", and the number one spot to shop online is at the NFL Shop.  The website currently has shirts, caps, jerseys, and other related merchandise of the two conference champs (Panthers and the Broncos), ready to purchase with just a few clicks.

For those that want to really go all out with a Sports gift for this Valentine's Day, Heavy.com has a lot of suggestions with links to team hats, team watches, wallets, golf bags, smartphone cases, and much more.

As for tech for a man for Valentine's Day, there are many options for that.  One thing that men (as well as women) need is a mobile battery, and as someone who has had experience reviewing many, there are many that I can recommend.  After all, who hasn't been in a situation where they needed power for their smartphone or tablet, and there wasn't a convenient outlet, USB or otherwise, nearby?

These are some terrific mobile batteries, some small and some large. Prices will vary depending on how many mAh that you want, as well as the particular brand.  Some of the chargers are unique, like the Nomad Wallet, which is a battery and a wallet all in one!

Another popular gift for Him would be a Bluetooth speaker, and these days, they are making them very rugged.  For example, Altec Lansing launched their Mini LifeJacket 2 ($99), and it is a waterproof speaker that puts out some very good sound for something of that size.  A company known as BRAVEN also makes similar speakers that are just as resilient and have some good sound as well.

If the man is into video games, there are a lot of choices for that.  He might like a pair of gaming headphones, like the type that Beyerdynamic makes such as the MMX 2.  Other gaming Valentine's Day gifts include controllers and games, but you might want to hold off on giving the game until after you have spent some time together.

Of course, there are more than just sports, and tech ideas that can be given to males, and the giver is encouraged to think outside of the box to personalize what he would really like.
