The fourth season of historical drama "Vikings" was cut short in April when History Channel decided to air the 10 remaining episodes later this year. However, the long wait would not be put in vain as the second half of the show's fourth season is expected became bloodier than before.

In Vikings Season 4 part 2, Ragnar Lothbrok could finally meet his end. Some viewers say he might die in a battle or one of his sons would kill him.The 10th episode of Season 4 showed Ragnar returned to Kattegat after several years of absence. However, his people and his sons hate him for leaving the village for too long.

In order to re-establish his right to kingship, he challenges his sons to defeat him in a battle. Next season, it is interesting to see how Ragnar will face his grown sons Hvitserk, Bjorn Ironside, Sigurd Snake-In-The-Eye, Ubbe and Ivar The Boneless.

There are several fan theories that say one or all of Ragnar's sons will kill him before the Season 4 is over. Some viewers also speculate Ragnar will choose his youngest son Ivar as the rightful king of Kattegat. Nonetheless, Season 4 could witness the death of Ragnar Lothbrok.

While the next episode is still months from now, fans don't have to wait until autumn to have a look at the new season. The cast is posting some of the behind-the-scenes pictures and videos in their social media accounts.
