Walking Dead Season 6 filming has begun. Meanwhile, the Season 6 premiere date has been confirmed for October 2015. In the sections below, we will take a look at the latest plot and cast rumors making the rounds on the internet. Be warned, there are spoilers ahead.

Parked Trailers Spotted at Walking Dead Film Set

According to the latest leaked photos from the Spoiling Dead fan site. The images in question show what appear to be parked trailers parked on location in Manchester Georgia. Filming begins just weeks after the Season 5 finale.

So far, there have not been much information regarding the plot. However, it is clear that the sixth season plot will revolve around the Safe Zone. In an aerial image also from the Spoiling Dead, the film set contains two large houses surrounded by high outer walls.

Plot Spoiler: Morgan's Return

The latest report from The Wrap suggests that Morgan Jones will get more screen time in Season Six of The Walker Dead.

"Having Rick and Morgan together, finally, again is a huge deal, and it's definitely going to be a big part of Season 6," Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman said at an NAB Show panel with AMC President Charlie Collier and series star Stephen Yeun.

Audiences will note that Morgan has had very limited screen time in the few occasions he actually appears. The character is slowly losing his grip on sanity after losing his wife and only child to the zombie apocalypse.  For much of Season Five, he attempts to reunite with series main protagonist Rick Grimes. Morgan finds Rick, but only after the former sheriff executes Pete with a bullet to the head. What effect this has on Morgan and Rick's friendship remains to be seen.

Morgan is played by actor Lennie James.

Will Glenn Finally Die?

The lovable former pizza boy continues to live a charmed life on AMC's Walking Dead - long after fans expected him to die in earlier seasons.

In the original comic series that inspired the TV show, Glenn was sadistically bludgeoned to death by antagonist Negan. The psychopathic villain has yet to make a first television appearance. However, Cinema Blend reported that TWD creators may introduce Negan in season six. If that were true, Glenn's life may be in jeopardy. Nonetheless, this information remains speculative at best. After all, major parts of the show have already deviated from the original source material.

On the TV show, Glenn Rhee is played by actor Steven Yeun.
