A number of people are still scrambling to get a hold of the Nintendo's NES Classic Edition console. It is still a few days before Christmas and purchasing one seems to be elusive for some. However, last-minute shoppers will have another chance to buy the in-demand mini NES at Best Buy, Target, and Amazon.

Best Buy announced last week that more than 1,000 of its stores across the US will have limited quantities of the NES Classic Edition on Dec 20. The retailer reminded that they will be giving out one ticket for every customer. It means that you will only be allowed to buy one item. Best Buy's Senior Category Officer Amy College expressed what everybody already knows about the NES Classic Edition console, "So we know this is one of the year's hottest gifts, and we're excited to give fans one more chance to bring one home for the holidays."

If you will miss out on Best Buy, there is also Target. According to the Star Tribune, Target will be having more consoles in stock between Tuesday and Thursday this week. A spokesman revealed that the quantities will actually vary by store. In addition, like Best Buy, they will not be selling the console online. You have to buy it in their stores.

Amazon is also offering the NES Classic Edition console. However, you have to be a Prime Member. According to I4U News, the online retailer has been selling it since last week through Prime Now. West Coast cities like Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, Las Vegas and Phoenix can now order an NES Classic Edition. In two hours, you will have your long-awaited console through free delivery. Got to this page on Amazon to order the NES Classic Edition. Or you can just search it on primenow.amazon.com.

You will have to go to the physical stores much earlier than most. When you see a long line of people waiting, you would know you have come to the right place. Though it will be a sign that you have come too late. It is advisable for you to check out NowInStock. The website is useful if you want to monitor when the console is currently in stock. You can sign up to their Google Group Alerts to receive email alerts.

In case you are living under a rock, the NES Classic Edition was launched back on Nov. 11. It is worth $60 and pre-loaded with 30 classic Nintendo games that include Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda and Pac-Man.
