The parade will begin at 11:45 a.m. It will feature everything from fife and drum corps and military servicemen and women to elaborate floats and VIPs galore.

In the evening, find a spot on West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol for A Capitol Fourth. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. It commonly features star-studded cast of musicians.

Also, this year's display will happen from the Lincoln Memorial at around 9 p.m. It is reported the pyrotechnic show will last for 18 minutes. It will be accompanied by a performance of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture from the National Symphony Orchestra.

One of the best spots to watch fireworks display is on the National Mall. However, hundreds of thousands show up to see the Washington, D.C. fireworks, so it is best to come early to get the best vantage point.

With that being said, be safe and have a happy Fourth!
