Microsoft is set to release new updates for their latest operating system -- Windows 10. The said updates are expected to bring bug fixes and performance improvements. Reports today claim that Window 10 PC users are expected to receive the update on Tuesday.

Here's the latest news about Windows 10 February update for PC and Mobile.

Microsoft is now gearing up to release a new cumulative OS update for Windows 10 with build 10586.104 next week, particularly on February 9, according to Windows Central. The upcoming update will address the reported bugs, random reboots and performance lags in the operating system. It is also highly likely that tablets in Windows 10 will receive a new cumulative update with the same number.

It is good to take note that the PC update is general rollout for all Windows 10 PC users and is different from the PC Insider program, which is on the Redstone branch that received build 14257 last night.

For the Windows 10 Mobile, The same source from Windows Central said 10586.104 is also now in early testing, and it could be released to Fast Ring Insiders in the next two weeks.

Meanwhile, Yahoo Tech published that PCs will automatically download Windows 10 this week. Recently, Microsoft changed the settings of system upgrade from an "optional" update to a "recommended" one.  However, users can rest assured that the tech company will not automatically install the new system. It will just be downloaded and readied for installation.  

The files for the new operating system will download quietly in the background, and users will have to agree to a dialogue box to install the upgrades.

One of the advantages of using Windows 10 is the opportunity to run the system on multiple devices. An example is buying an app that can be run on a phone, PC, or a Xbox console. The new system also allows users to access the OneDrive and Skype easier.

Furthermore, Microsoft also encourages app makers to develop more software for Windows 10. In the future, expect most of the applications are written in Windows 10, so it is good to upgrade to the latest system.  

Some tech experts said the Microsoft's campaign is similar to how Apple pushes its users to upgrade to the latest iPhone and Mac systems. By doing that, app developers know they can release new software without worrying about older devices that will leave behind.
