While fans are waiting for the official release date of World of Warcraft: Legion from Blizzard Entertainment, the game's system requirements for PC and MAC are now posted on Blizzard's official website. Here's what is currently known about World of Warcraft: Legion release date, new maps and update.

It is expected that World of Warcraft: Legion will become a big hit for gamers and another blockbuster game for Blizzard. As early as now, Warcraft followers can see the latest additions in the game. There are new locations, new character class and new quests. 

Here are the system requirements of World of Warcraft: Legion from Blizzard's official website.

Minimum requirements for Windows

  •  Operating system: Windows® 7
  •  Processor: Intel® CoreTM 2 Duo E8500 or AMD PhenomTM II X3 720
  •  Graphics Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 440 or AMDTM RadeonTM HD 5670 or Intel® HD Graphics 5000
  •  Memory: 2 GB RAM

Recommended Specifications for Windows

  •  Operating system: Windows® 10 64-bit with latest service pack
  •  Processor: Intel® CoreTM i5-3330, AMDTM FX-6300, or better
  •  Graphics Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 750 Ti or AMDTM RadeonTM R7 260X or better
  •  Memory: 4 GB RAM

Minimum requirements for MAC

  •  Operating system: OS® X 10.10
  •  Processor: Intel® CoreTM i5-750
  •  Graphics Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 440 or AMDTM RadeonTM HD 5670 or Intel® HD Graphics 5000
  •  Memory: 4 GB RAM

Recommended Specifications for MAC

  •  Operating system: OS® X 10.11 (latest version)
  •  Processor: Intel® CoreTM i5-4670 or better
  •  Graphics Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 775M orAMD RadeonTMR9 M290X or better
  •  Memory: 8 GB RAM

Ubergizmo said it is possible that Blizzard could change the system requirements in the future. However for gamers who can run Warlords of Draenor smoothly, they should be able to run Legion without much issue.

In related news, Kotaku published the new Druid Cat forms in the game. Most of the players who saw the screenshots and footages agreed that it looks remarkable. In addition, the same source revealed a new arena map called Ashamane's Fall.

It is also reported that there are two new arenas in the upcoming Warcraft expansion. Black Rock Hold was teased before, but Blizzard just shared images of the second one.

Most of the tech websites believe World of Warcraft: Legion will be released in the third quarter of the year, particularly in September. See the game's trailer below.
