WWE 2K16 Creation Studio App and DLC Release Dates; Results Of WWE TLC 2015

WWE fans anxiously looked forward to the release of WWE 2K16 last October, and they now look forward to the DLC (downloadable content) that is in the process of being released.  So far, the New Moves Pack is available now, with the Legends Pack coming very soon.  Also available now is a new Creation Studio App for mobile platforms to add new bonuses to the game.  For those that are interested in WWE for real, here are the results of WWE TLC 2015. 

According to Venture Beat, 2K released the WWE 2K16 Creation Studio App today.  This application, which is free for iOS and Android, will allow the user to take a picture of your face and then put it on a create-a-wrestler in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game.  It also allows players to import other pictures to use them as textures for other features like tattoos and logos. 

As for the DLC that is available, the New Moves has been made available as of November 20, 2015.  Costing $3.99, The Player has access to over 30 new moves, including the Corner Enzuigiri (made popular by WWE Diva Nikki Bella), Avalanche Ram (made popular by WWE Diva Paige), Sidewinder Suplex (made popular by WWE and NXT Superstar Kevin Owens), Standing Crossface Chickenwing (made popular by WWE Superstar Stardust) and Dragon Sleeper (made popular by NXT Superstar Finn Bálor).

Next to be released is the Legends Pack, due out on December 22, 2015.  For $8.99, this allows the player to play as WWE Legends like Big Boss Man, Dusty Rhodes, Lita, Mr. Perfect, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, and Trish Stratus.

According to the official WWE 2K16 website, it looks like the New Moves and Legends Pack are the only DLC available now.  There is more, and the Season Pass which costs about $24.99, can get the players those DLC packs and the ones to be released into early 2016 such as:

  • Accelerator ($1.99): Players will gain instant access to all unlockable content available in the game, excluding the downloadable content.
  • 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase ($9.99): This allows playable matches that include Playable matches include: "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts; Rikishi vs. The Rock; Alundra Blayze vs. Paige; Larry Zbyszko vs. Arn Anderson; Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Ric Flair; The Bushwhackers (Butch Miller and Luke Williams) vs. The Natural Disasters (Typhoon and Earthquake); The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) vs. Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray).
  • Future Stars Pack ($7.99): The player can be playable NXT superstars like Samoa Joe, Diego, Fernando, Blake and Murphy

Also available separately from the Season Pass is MyPlayer KickStart, which is exclusive to the PS4 and Xbox One.  It costs $9.99 and allows the players instant access to boost created Superstar ratings and attributes in the game's MyCareer mode. 

Speaking of WWE, here are the results of WWE TLC 2015.  Roman Reigns lost against Sheamus.  However, the battle was pretty spectacular and is a possible set up for a WrestleMania clash with Triple H and Reigns.  As for other results, check out a report at Bleacher Report
