With WWE Battleground 2015 kicking off next month, speculation amongst pro wrestling watchers has been making the rounds on the internet. Brock Lesnar is making his return after being suspended in late March.  Naturally, this was all part of the buildup toward the inevitable Brock vs. Seth showdown. Also, unresolved rivalries from the previous Money in the Bank event will spill over into Battleground.

These developments give some idea concerning what should be expected for the next major WWE event. Battleground 2015 will be held on July 19 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Brock Confronts Seth Rollins at RAW

On Monday, Brock Lesnar made an unexpected appearance at Monday's RAW. The Beast Incarnate walked up to Seth Rollins, and Rollins appeared to be trembling.

Moment earlier, Triple H announced plans to test Rollins to see if he becomes "the diamond we have invested in." Seth eagerly accepts the challenge, but is stunned to see Lesnar walking out to the ring.

Fans may recall Seth winning the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania, even though he had been eliminated earlier. Rollins waited in the wings during the Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns match. When both contenders were down, Seth ran out with the Money in the Bank contract. He ultimately pinned Reigns for the win.

The following day, Seth refused to fight Lesnar - sending the Beast into a rage. After attacking people around him, Brock was fined and suspended by Stephanie McMahon. Naturally, many pro-wrestling watchers assumed that Lesnar will show up at SummerSlam.

Now, it seems that the Beast Incarnate is coming back sooner than everyone expected. The subsequent Brock vs. Seth match will certainly draw in a number of viewers.

Sheamus Now Owns Money in the Bank

Sheamus now has a chance to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion again.

Previously, the Celtic Warrior won the iconic briefcase in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Sheamus now has a year to cash in his Money in the Bank contract. With this development, Sheamus will have a much higher profile in the coming months.

During this time, WWE will need to arrange an opponent to keep Sheamus in the spotlight. That nemesis may very well be Randy Orton. Long before Money in the Bank, Orton and Sheamus had fought viciously in Raw. Tensions came to head during the Ladder match where Sheamus seized the Money in the Bank contract.

John Cena vs. Kevin Owens Not Likely

WWE may hold back the John Cena vs Kevin Owens match for SummerSlam.

That is not to suggest that Cena will not show up to Battleground 2015, since he is practically WWE's poster boy. According to Bleacher Report, there is a chance that WWE will close the Cena-Owens feud at SummerSlam instead of Battleground.

Cena had defeated Owens at the Money in the Bank event. John attempts to make peace by offering Owens a handshake, but gets a kick in the gut instead. Kevin Owens proceeds to hit with Cena an apron powerbomb.
