So you are an Xbox Live Gold member, and one of the primary reasons as to why you decided to subscribe was the fact that each month would see the release of four games -- for free. Since you are unable to score any kind of free lunch at the workplace, it ain’t too bad picking up four free games every month. In an entire year, that would equal to 48 free games, now how about that when it comes to value for money? Of course, you do not have a say in what kind of free games you will be able to enjoy for that particular month, making the randomness of it all exciting. For the month of February 2017, Xbox Live Gold members will continue to be on the receiving end of a quartet of new free games. Two of these will be on the Xbox One while the other two would be for the older generation Xbox 360. Needless to say, it works in your favor if you were to be rocking to an Xbox One, since you are also able to enjoy Xbox 360 titles thanks to the backward compatibility feature.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime
Xbox Live Gold members are able to download Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, a title that carries a $14.99 recommended retail price for the entire month of February. This is a rather interesting title, being a 1 to 4 player co-op space shooter that will see neon battleships being the place where warfare is staged. Certainly a game that is worth getting if you would like to bond with the younger ones, as it is suitable for gamers aged 10 and above.

Project Cars Digital Edition
What would normally set one back by a rather pricey $29.99 will be available as a free download this February 16th all the way to March 15th. If you would like to drive one of the exotic supercars but know that your current financial situation does not permit it, this is the free game to get, at least until the middle of March. Get a taste of how it feels like to be behind the wheels of a Ford GT40 Mk IV, the BMW M1 Pro Car, the McLaren F1, the Sauber C9 and the Mercedes-Benz AMG C-Coupe DTM with Project Cars Digital Edition.

Monkey Island 2: Special Edition
Monkey Island 2: Special Edition, a $9.99 title will be free for all Xbox Live Gold members, although its availability will be limited from the start of February all the way until February 15th. In other words, the sooner you download it, the better, as you would not want to miss out on this classic. This is a game where the storyline is far more important and engaging than the graphics itself.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Why not continue to hitch a ride on Star Wars fever with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed that would normally cost $19.99? Once you are done with Monkey Island 2: Special Edition, it is time to download Star Wars: The Force Unleashed from February 16th through February 28th for free.
