Xbox Live Gold

Membership has its privileges, and that is a fact that cannot be discounted. However, with so many different kinds of membership programs to choose from, which would be able to suit you the best? That really depends on what you would like, actually, and for gamers, it is a no-brainer to sign up for the Xbox Live Games with Gold. It is an annual subscription, but each month, you will end up with four titles made available at different times of the month for free. Yes, you read that right -- games that can be downloaded as opposed to being purchased, without having to fork out a single cent. Of course, the main drawback is you will be unable to pick and choose the kind of title that you would like to play since it all goes through some big randomizer machine in the sky, but hey, at least it is free, right? Hence, with November fast coming to a close and December all set to arrive, what can Xbox Live Games with Gold members expect next month?

The Christmas season is a time where family and friends gather around and have a really good time catching up with one another, and what better way than to bond by enjoying some games on your Xbox One in the living room?

We shall hop aboard the speculation train since nothing official has been revealed just yet, and with this month’s Xbox Games with Gold free releases being announced on Monday, October 24, then following the patterns of the past would certainly mean November 24th is the date Xbox console owners can look forward to for an official announcement. Of course, we would not discount it being announced at another date simply because it might get drowned out by all of the Black Friday advertisements and deals that tend to kick off in the evening of November 24, but who knows? Perhaps anytime now before or after Black Friday will suffice, too.

It has been some time since a decent AAA title has been made available for free from Microsoft, and some speculations point to the possibility of Super Dungeon Bros and Murdered: Soul Suspect making an appearance on Xbox One, while those who are still rocking to the previous generation Xbox 360 might be able to enjoy Monkey Island: Special Edition and Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. Of course, Xbox 360 titles can be played on the Xbox One for obvious reasons, but not the other way around, courtesy of Microsoft’s Backwards Compatibility program.

After all, it would be nice to have Microsoft finish the year with a bang, and it is the Christmas season, too. Why not offer something that will keep everyone happy and excited, bringing the feel good factor over to the new year? It would be a decent gesture this Yuletide season, not to mention making fans feel it is worth the while to have an Xbox Live Games with Gold subscription. Otherwise, too many turkeys released throughout the year that does not have any value proposition is simply going to turn people off in the long run. This page will let you know of the available games for December upon its official announcement, so do refresh it often if you are the impatient sort.
