What are the free games for August and September 2016

Xbox owners who are enrolled in Microsoft's Gold service program receive free games every month. It costs $40 to become a Gold member, but the games you'll receive are more than that.  Now, we'll give you the list of free games available for this month of January and game predictions for February.

Many tech websites published their own predictions for February games, but these are unverified reports. Sony has not yet made any announcements about Xbox live games next month. However, subscribers can expect that they will receive a bunch of Triple A games with a mix of mediocre titles or small indies. It is interesting to note that the Gold program previously offered blockbuster games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Halo 5: Guardians, and Forza Motorsport 6.

As of now, Zheros is the only game that is confirmed available for February. The game has a 3D beat'em up gameplay. It is playable in Xbox One until February 15.

Meanwhile, here are the games available for this month.

Xbox One

1.Killer Instinct: Season 1 Ultra Edition

The game is available from January 1 to 31. The game was released more than two decades ago, all the way back to 1994. The game developers rebooted it to make it exciting for today's gamers. Killer Instinct usually comes with just one playable fighter, but Xbox Live Gold members can have an exclusive access to eight Season One characters, such as Jago, Sabrewulf, Glacius, Thunder, Sadira and  Orchid,

2.Zheros

As we said above, the game is available until February. Xbox Live subscribers can play this action-packed game that features beautiful galactic setting with brightly colored graphics. Moreover, it has pure and fast action gameplay with plenty of fights.

The market price of Zheros is at $19.99, but Gold members can have it for free.

Xbox 360

1.DiRT Showdown

This sports-racing game is playable from January 1 to January 15. The in-game vehicles have awesome details and accumulate dust as the race progress, adding to its realistic feel. The racing locations are full of spectacle and peppered with destructible objects.

2.Deus Ex: Human Revolution

From January 16 to January 31, get ready to experience the awesomeness of this cyberpunk-themed action RPG. The game sets players free into the open-ended world and gives them tools to succeed.

The new free games for February 2016 will probably not be announced until the last week of January 2016, so stay tuned with Gospel Herald for more updates.
