Owners of the popular Xbox One game console now have more reasons to spend time with their beloved joysticks. A string of new titles have been released to Microsoft's gaming hardware as part of the final leg of its "Xbox One Summer Spotlight" campaign.

The company announces new games via its official Major Nelson Xbox Live blog. In the past couple of days, a total of seven games have been added to the Xbox One's growing library. Recently included in the roster are Don't Starve: Giant Edition, Yasai Ninja, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, Watch_Dogs Complete Edition, Dying Light Demo, Magnetic: Cage Closed, and Nova-111.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch

This new Xbox One title is initially called Octodad 2, the sequel to the original Octodad game. Players will control the eponymous character, a dapper octopus posing as a human, as he goes about his daily life.

In Dadliest Catch, the developers have given Octodad an improved skeleton so his body can stretch farther, flail around, slip on banana peels, and have each of his appendage react simultaneously.

Watch Dogs Complete Edition

Watch Dogs, stylized as "WATCH_DOGS," is an open world action-adventure stealth video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It follows the story of Aiden Pearce, an extremely talented grey hat hacker who has the ability to hack into the "ctOS," the centralized operating system that controls the fictional, hyper-connected city of Chicago.

It is arguably the biggest title to be released on the Microsoft console this week and its Complete Edition will certainly satisfy eagerly waiting fans. The package includes game + Season Pass, access to new game modes, outfits, weapons, and missions.

Dying Light Demo

This is a first-person survival horror game created by Poland-based developer Techland and published by Warner Bros. Interactive. It allows players to practice their virtual parkour skills and enjoy extraordinary freedom of movement while exploring the enemy-infested, open-world environment of Harran City.

Though Dying Light Demo is apparently not a complete version, Microsoft still carries it to the Xbox One this week so players can have a taste of what the game will bring and to entice them to buy it once the full version has been released.

These three games join the previously announced Don't Starve: Giant Edition and Yasai Ninja. The former is newest entrant to Klei Entertainment's Don't Starve franchise which first arrived in 2013. It lets players control a character named Wilson, a "Gentleman Scientist" trapped by a demon and transported to a mysterious world. The Giant Edition includes a Reign of Giants expansion pack comprising of new characters, creatures, seasons, biomes, and challenges.

Meanwhile, Yasai Ninja is a third-person, hack-and-slash game set in feudal Japan. It features Kaoru Tamanegi (Kaoru Onion) and Broccoli Joe as the protagonists along with other vegetable characters. Players are put into the proverbial shoes of the main characters and lead them to their quest against the evil vegetable hoard.

Other newly released titles for the console include the sci-fi adventure game Nova-111 and the exciting, first- person puzzle game Magnetic: Cage Closed
