India will be joining the YMCAs and YWCAs world over to jointly observe Week of Prayer and Fellowship every year in the second week of November. This year the World YMCA/YWCA Week of Prayer and World Fellowship will be observed during November 9-15, 2003.
The theme for this year is “Healing and wholeness: the Global Challenge of HIV/AIDS”. To commemorate, the Inaugural Worship Service will be held on November 9, 2003, 9:00 a.m. at the St. Martin’s Church, Delhi Cantt. Delhi-110 010.
Dr. Vijay Aruldas, General Secretary, CMAI will be the Guest Speaker.
On November 12, 2003, Dr. Santosh Matthew, Director, Emmanuel Hospital Association, Delhi AIDS Project and on November 13, 2003, Dr. Aletta Bell, Technical Consultant, Christian AIDS/HIV National Alliance (CANA) will be delivering speeches on AIDS and the challenges it poses to the global community.
