We all know that the Nintendo Switch is being prepared for a March 2017 release. The other big question that begs to be asked is this: what would be the launch title that will accompany the Nintendo Switch when it is released? So far, history has shown that it has always been a first party title from Nintendo that accompanied a new console’s launch, and such tradition does not look like it is going to be broken anytime soon. A leaked snapshot of some Nintendo Switch promotional material showcased accessories for the upcoming console, as well as a The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild cartridge case spotted alongside those very same accessories.

It does not require too much smarts to realize that this would normally be an indication of an accompanying launch title. Twitter user DroidXAce managed to grab some snapshots in black and white, offering a wide range of accessories that would make you wonder whether the Nintendo Switch is the 21st century equivalent of a Game Boy’s Handy Boy. After all, some of the accessories showcased in the leaked photo point to a screen projector, a stand, a charger that will be able to carry not one, but a couple of Joy-Cons, an arcade stick, a joypad, a car charger which will definitely come in handy when you would like to get your gaming fix while you’re on the move, a LAN adapter, a case to stash the Switch handheld when traveling, as well as a case for the game cartridges -- and in this particular instance, the game cartridge case carries The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild theme.

Nice to know that there is a Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild kit in the midst of it all. This particular kit will comprise of a Nintendo Switch pouch, a microfiber cloth (presumably to wipe away any kind of dirt, grime, and sweat from your palms), a Joy-Con protector, and a game cartridge case. Not only that, there is also a Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sticker set that will cater for the Joy-Con Grip controller as well as its Switch stand, whereas a more generously-sized Breath of the Wild-themed game cartridge case is also there for you to bring home. The sticker set has been listed to be available in March 2017, which lends even more weight to such a level of speculation.

It must be noted that accessories which have been manufactured to target a specific game tend to sell well if and only if it were positioned right next to the released title. It might enjoy a few weeks of brisk sales, before being pushed into the discount bin so that the remaining stock can be cleared in order to make way for other items. Hence, it is shrewd marketing to see such bundles of accessories from Hori make their way around this March as the Nintendo Switch debuts -- pointing to the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as a launch title simultaneously.

Perhaps more might be revealed At the Nintendo Switch presentation which will kick off at 11pm EST on January 12.
