Chinese paper slams Trump after Taiwan comments

An official Chinese newspaper called Donald Trump "as ignorant as a child" on Monday after he hinted his administration might toss aside four decades of U.S. policy and not consider Taiwan part of one, united China. Also on Monday, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said his government was “seriously concerned” about the President-elect’s comments. Since winning the U.S. presidential race, Trump’s public comments and tweets have put the future of U.S-China relations in question.
