Iranian Child In Need Of Emergency Eye Surgery Arrives In U.S.
on Monday evening, A young Iranian girl arrived safely at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. She is in need of emergency eye surgery only available in the U.S. her trip came after a court halted new travel restrictions put in place suddenly last month that threatened to delay the necessary treatment. Her mother, Fahimeh Kashkooli, is living in the U.S. on a student visa while she earns a master’s degree at Fordham University’s School of Law.
