Microsoft is now offering the entire first season of Dragon Ball Z in high definition for free. Additionally, the company is giving away the rest of the anime's season at a huge discount. This move might be a way to promote the upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Anime fans can watch the first season of Dragon Ball Z by going to the Microsoft Store. Remember to choose the "Free" option and then click "Buy season." Viewers can watch all episodes on any Windows 10, Windows 8, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 device.

The Season 1 of Dragon Ball Z was initially released way back in 1996. It is composed of 39 episodes. The show is dubbed as one of the most popular anime series ever created. In fact, it has a live version that was premiered in 2009.

If Season 1 is not enough, Microsoft is offering Seasons 2 through 9 with 50 percent discount. Watch Season 2, 3, 4, and 5 in HD for only $20 each. For Seasons 6, 7, 8, and 9, they are available in standard definition for $11 each. The first five seasons are also available in a standard edition for $11 each.

The Dragon Ball Z movies are available with discounted price as well. Get the Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F movie for only $6 and the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods for 1$0.

In video games, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will come in a variety of special editions - the Deluxe and the Collector's edition.

Forbes reported the Deluxe edition is available with $90 price tag. It comes with in-game characters like Future Trunks and a Season Pass for all the upcoming DLC packs and other accessories. On the other hand, the $150 Collector's Edition comes with the Time Patroller's Guide art book,  a steel book case, the game's soundtrack and a statue of Super Saiyan Goku. Goku's statue stands at 13 inches tall. It features the hero's Super Saiyan form.

Dragonball Xenoverse will have four DLC packs, which cost $10 each. Good thing, buyers can get all of them ahead of time by purchasing the Season Pass for $30. The upcoming DLCs will bring new stages, quests, characters, items and more.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is scheduled to become available on October 25 for PS4 and Xbox One. Its PC version is set to be released three days later on October 28. Check out the game's new features here.
