‘GTA 5’ DLC Rumors and Release Date With News About ‘GTA 6’

GTA V Lowriders
"GTA V" Lowriders are coming again? Rockstar Games

Yes, Rockstar Games has Grand Theft Auto (GTA), and GTA 5 is considered one of the best-selling video game franchises ever.  It just makes sense that the game will have more downloadable content (DLC) to make it even more popular, but fans are wondering when will the DLC quit, and a sequel happen? This is what is known about GTA 5 DLC rumors as well as the release date of GTA 6.

According to iDigitalTimes, a renowned tipster named Yan2295 has shared details about the next GTA Online DLC shortly after the release of the Lowriders: Custom Classics update.  Yan2295 was the same tipster who was mentioned earlier this month when a tweet got taken down, and you can read about that here

The original Lowrider DLC was launched in October of last year, and it was the first of its kind that was not available on older generation consoles.  It is made for those that want to customize their cars, tricking them out by decorating the engine bock, car interior, even the steering wheel and shift levers.  There will also be hydraulics for some bouncing action as well.

The tip from Yan2295 states that the next cars to receive the lowrider treatment are the Sabre, Tornado, and Minivan.  Assuming that this is legitimate information, the Minivan Custom is due to arrive on April 12.  There will also be a new Adversary Mode known as "Inch by Inch" that will accompany the Minivan as well.  The Sabre Turbo Custom will arrive on April 19 to wrap up next month's DLC content, and another Adversary Mode called "In and Out" will arrive on May 3.

Although Yan2295 is confident that his information is legit, it isn't the norm for Rockstar to release contents bit by bit over a month's period.  Of course, Rockstar can change the way that they do things, especially when the 3 cars will be released via Tunables.

Speaking of rumors, we should talk about what the latest GTA 6 rumors are.  A report from N4BB states that fans will have to wait longer for further details involving the game.

The usual rumors are of a change of location, and some say that it could take place in Tokyo.  Then there are others that say Bogota, Columbia could be the next setting.  One suggestion is Grand Theft Auto: Sin City.  Does this mean that GTA is Vegas-bound or is Rockstar creating a Sin City better than Frank Miller's Sin City?  Then there are some suppositions like a female protagonist, more flying missions, more weapons choices, and the possibility of cheat codes.

Now, it is possible that GTA 6 is being delayed on purpose.  Part of it could be that the present consoles of the PS4 and Xbox One are three years old, which makes them to be on the way out soon.  The last GTA game was released just as the Xbox 360 and PS3 were going out of style, and now with VR starting to become a thing, most players want some VR GTA action.  If that is the case, then Rockstar will be giving it to them, sooner or later.
